Who Is Lanex?

Lanex is a Licensed Clinical Social worker who specializes in the areas of individuals, couples, parenting issues and grief reaction. She has been a therapist for over forty years. She also spent ten years working with "Parenting for Peaceful Families" and is very active and interested in Women's issues.

Lanex has worked as a childcare center director and as a case manager in a county protective service system. She then spent many years as a youth worker where she learned the importance of family systems. After she received her Master's Degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University in 1980, she worked with psychiatric patients and their families. After starting her own family, she went into private practice and sought training in addiction behaviors, non-violent parenting, spiritual interests and then she found Imago. Lanex was not only impressed with Dr. Harville Hendrix, but with his master trainers.  Imago work also saved her marriage.  This lead to her decision to become a Certified Imago Therapist, Imago Advanced Clinician, and Imago Workshop Presenter. Lanex became a student of "Toltec Wisdom" after she encountered the book "The Four Agreements" by Don Miguel Ruiz. Lanex strongly believes in "lifelong learning" and so she continues her journey to learn more about herself  and enrich the lives of others.
